If anything I'd prefer Microsoft to acquire Github than say...Google.
Microsoft is not a perfect company but it's not the 2000s anymore and I'm a bit annoyed by the usual "Microsoft: Bad™" takes. Especially when other comp like Google/FB are actually doing harmful things in present days 🤷
I'll take "Has a shitty policy over Windows' copyright but largely contributes to open-source" over "has a hip image but builds military AI" thank you.
@Eramdam I totally agree, in saying that microsoft is more acceptable in this case. But still, I won't be able to trust them. And I am still saying that this whole market centralization is an absolutely bad thing.
