I'm not so happy with the size and amount of innecesary/bloated dependencies many popular JS projects have, so, wrote down some thoughts.

I really like that article, it felt nice to read. The only thing that irritated me a bit was the example of checking whether an E-Mail-Adress is valid. On client-sided applications, I think it is fitting, but in areas where security is of relevance like node.js-servers, I would always try to find a library that fulfills these needs. Thanks for writing this article!


Good point. Could explicit that it should be okay with frontend applications, but should pick a good, already working library to do it in more security-critical environments.
